Navigational Lingo of an Uro, and much Art

Journal Entry: Mon Jun 19, 2006, 10:01 AM
(A quote of morning navigational lingo of a traveling Uro):

"We will go this way because there is much coasting in the area's of in-between stuff."

Yes.. that was this morning... i was still asleep, driving to figure drawing, and it took a couple mintues of staring at me and a ten minutes of cackling from my friend in the passenger seat to make me realize my gibberish . Still tickles me ^^ moving on.

Things are going well overall, been doing lots of arting the past couple of weeks since summer's started (unfortunatly i have yet to do any work for Conceptual Concerns but hopefully that will be remedied soon). Both comics are running smooth (one yet to be launched), Will and Jojo are giving me great imput so it's all been a good time ^^. Figure drawing classes came and went, good therapy, all this work is keeping me sharp! Tired, i will admitt, but sharp. Good summer so far, upcomming July will certainly be chaos, in a good way, i certainly hope.

Break out!

It's out! It's done! It's SUMMER!

Oh glorious days ahead! ^^ yes! yes indeed i am free from comfinement for the next two in a half up comming months. Though i have to say my subconcious refuses to believe it yet. But i celebrated by grabbing one of my closest friends and taking a leisurely drive around the city, looking a big houses and screaming to lyrics of good music. Nothing better than a well oiled vechical with a loud low growling engine to set you in a blissful mood ^^, i love that truck of mine, oh Komodo ^^.

But just because summer's here doesn't mean i have nothing planned with my life ^^ oh yes, busy busy busy. Besides the college shopping and a few hopeful road trips being schemed, this will be a summer of much doings of art. With the assumed assignments for journal and Conceptual Concerns for the art department, on top of that i have the priveledge of helping out with two comics at Red Star! ^^ Illustrator for the uncomming comic by William Gregory named "Phoenix Wings" and color munchkin for third attempt of a hybridized comic version of Shakespear's "Hamlet" illustrated by J. E. Seames, aka the rockin radical Jojo ^^. (Will and Jojo, if i knew how to link to pages i would so fill this page up with links as far as the eye could see.. but alas.. the cyber-age has tripped me up too soon than i should of let it).

Congradulations to all those also now free, with extra claps going out to all the grads, and let's get this summer started!

Flippen and Jumpin

Journal Entry: Sun May 7, 2006, 7:39 PM
So as May trods on, the homwork piles, portfolio review anxiety heightens (geese, it's my sixth one, you'd think i'd get over it) ... <.< ... >.> (help me... they gonna shank me *whimpers*)

On happier notes!!! (and they are indeed happy ones, hence the title)

(1) The SAT is over with! and gah.. could they make that test any longer?? pray for good points ^^

(2)About a week ago i was IMed to do the visuals for the comic "Phoenix Wings" by William J. Gregory who is the head of Red Star Comics online ^^ *claps*! As a result i'm jumping around like a wallaby. can't ... explain.. excitment... i want summer to come!!! my first online comic ^^ at least the illustration part, but i'm still ecstatic ^^, i'll put up links once i figure out how to work this html thing, which needs to be learned, since it's kinda of pathetic that i don't know it by now at my age *digs up html for dummies* i will no longer be a technological disgrace! >>100010101010120101011

Doozy

Journal Entry: Sat Apr 29, 2006, 10:21 PM
So, after a period of dormancy i decided to throw a coupe of deviations at you all (keep you eyes open or they might hit your head). Recovering from my nana's passing as we all must do when losing someone, and slowly beginning to go insane from anxiety of the upcomming portfoilio review and other projects and finals *whimpers* not to sound pessimistic.. but May is a doozy of a month... so i may not be posting as much as i usually might be (which explains the small submission gap)
